I bought my first batch since the product change. I used to love the smell, the results, the thickness. It was perfect. Now, everything is just the opposite. It smells like coconuts that went bad. It is so thick, I have a hard time pumping it from the bottle. After using it, my hair doesn’t feel like I even used conditioner. I have been using this for many years (8+), but I think I will be forced to find something new.
It seems I forgot to write a new review since the formula changed in November 2023. In addition to the new coconut shampoo formula making my hair fall out, the new conditioner formula does basically nothing in terms of moisturizing or detangling. I got through 3-4 washes with the new stuff, then threw them straight in the trash. Thankfully Pure gave me my money back. The old formula was perfect, the new one is just awful. Please change it back.
I love this product! I have permed curly hair and it makes it manageable and soft curls! Plus the smell is lovely!
