Products Needed:
Start with one thin layer of our Horsetail Base Coat Polish to set the foundation on every nail. Many thin layers is the key to success. Globbing on one or two thick layers will lead to sadness (and peeling) later on.
Step 2: Apply Your Nail PolishNext apply one thin layer of our Creamy Polish: Jam to your pinky, ring and middle finger nails. Let this layer thoroughly dry, then apply a second thin coat. Two coats will usually be the perfect opacity. Don’t be tempted to speed up the drying process with a hair dryer. The heat will actually hinder the setting process.
Step 3: Apply Your Sparkle Nail Polish
Reduce, reuse, recycle. Save your old Fruit Dyed Makeup Blender to use for the sparkle accent nail application. Cut a small bit, about half inch piece, off. If you have a steady hand, you can freehand this part or feel free to tape off your cuticles and skin around your nails to protect from sparkle application. Using our Creamy Polish: Ibiza, brush nail polish directly onto Makeup Blender piece. Dab directly onto your nail. You’ll need about 2-3 thin layers to get a full opacity sparkle.
Step 4: Apply Your Stripes
Next apply one thin layer of our Creamy Polish: Cloud to your second accent nail. Let this layer thoroughly dry, then apply a second thin coat. Cut a strip of clear tape off and gently tap on your hand to remove some of the adhesive. Use scissors to cut into thinner strips and apply to your completely dry nail in horizontal lines. Apply our Creamy Polish: Jam over the nail and tape pieces. After it’s totally dry, remove the tape for perfect lines.
Step 5: Protect Your NailsWrap it up with a thin layer of our Glass Top Coat Polish to keep this patriot manicure chip-free. Wait about 10-15 minutes for nails to completely dry before moving to the next step.
