I really wanted to like this shampoo but it dried my hair real bad. I have fine dry hair. I gave a 4 star because only of that issue. No irritation or rash on the scalp.
The shampoo I had been using for years started to give me a rash. I found this product and have been using for about 3 weeks. My rash is slowly going away. Very gentle shampoo!
This shampoo is helping my scalp condition (I have oily skin and dandruff issue). However, it would be nice if the gel itself was less runny (makes a mess when pouring). Also I don't recommend for people who have dry skin, it made my wife's scalp itch more.
I love this shampoo. I've been using it off and on for almost ten years now and even though I try other shampoos I always come back to this one. I don't love the smell, which is why I stray away sometimes but the effect it has on my hair just can't be beat. I have hard water and this is one of the only sulfate free shampoos that actually keeps the buildup out of my hair. I love that it cleans without drying my hair out.
The product left my scalp very clean and prevented excessive oil from producing.
