I ordered this a few weeks ago and was surprised at what I received in the mail. Apparently they recently repackaged, and significantly reduced the amount of product you get. The old packaging contained 1.7 oz. Now you only get 1 oz.! When I placed my order, the description showed the previous packaging pictured with the previous amount of product. I will be returning. Had I known they would be reducing the amount of product so significantly, I would not have not purchased.
I’ve been using this tinted moisturizer for 14-15years not sure- back than it had spf and I was only able to purchase it from rainbow in SF. Since than I’ve moved multiple times, now living in the EU, but always stayed loyal because I loved this product! Even when the spf was taken out the formula, it was still light, great for my skin with amazing coverage. Last month I’ve ordered my usual product, and was disappointed to receive a different tinted moisturizer that is now not 50ml but 30 and in a plastic tube. Customer service took care of me , as I contacted them in regards to the package size, but when I tried the product I was even more disappointed. The cream now has a new formula, it is a totally different texture, very hard to spread and left my face shiny- that never happened before. I really really hope the old formula with the old packaging will be back . If so, be sure to make a visible stamp on it’s page saying “old formula” - until than, I will not be purchasing this or any another product unfortunately.
I agree with a previous review that this tinted moisturizer was out of stock for a long time. In addition, I am very disappointed to see the new packaging and reduced size from 1.7 to 1 fluid ounce.
The packaging has changed from the traditional airless pump bottle to the plastic squeeze tube that the Luminous Primer now comes in, and you get less of it (pump bottle had 1.7 oz, this new tube will only have 1 oz.). Also, the formula has changed big time. I was just reading through the ingredients list, and it's gotten twice as long, and looks nothing like the old one. So disappointed to see several additions that mimic mainstream cosmetics. I just spoke with a customer service rep a few days ago asking about when my specific shade might come back in, and she assured me that the formula wouldn't change. Maybe you'll get one of the old stock if you place an order soon, but I wouldn't risk it. :( P.s. If someone else has a different experience, please leave a review, but I just wanted to make others aware of the changes that are imminent... It's all in the fine print.
