Liquid Natural Highlighters

A liquid highlighter is key to creating a dewy look that oozes freshness and youth. We’re all about helping you bring out your natural glow! This synthetic-chemical-free makeup moisturizes and nourishes, without the greasiness. Ready to look like a dewy, glowing goddess? We thought so.

Luminating Créme

Sweep this cream highlighter wand onto cheekbones, bridge of nose, cupid’s bow, and brow bones. Thanks to skin softening pomegranate seed oil and argan oil, you can easily blend this natural highlighter formula with fingers. The result is a luminous sheen that makes you look like you’re glowing from within. It’s toxin free for a truly natural, healthy glow. We suggest pairing this with a dewy foundation, like our fan favorite Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer.

The luxe formula contains only natural fruit and plant pigments from peach, apricot, and cocoa beans to also nourish your skin.

Pressed Powder Natural Highlighters

We’re focusing on powder highlighters for a magical looking shimmer that’s fit for any festival look. These shimmery sweethearts are free of talc (so no fear of asbestos contamination!) and formulated with skin fortifying rice powder so you can celebrate your unicorn and mermaid wannabe dreams worry-free. These natural highlighters are easy to apply for errands, work, or date night!

Fruit Pigmented® and Gemmed Luminizers

We all want to serve flawless fairy queen looks with our highlight, but harsh synthetic glitter just doesn’t make the cut, especially for its costumey effect and skin irritating plastics. A safer alternative to synthetic glitter is, of course, the real deal -- responsibly sourced natural ingredients and gemstones like mica, Australian opal, moonstone, sunstone. Sounds pretty out of this world, right? You can find these in our Gemmed Luminizer natural highlighters, which are also pigmented with fruits for ultimate skin goodness. Our original Fruit Pigmented® Luminizer is also laced with sultry, shimmery mica. Simply use a Cruelty Free Blush Brush or Cruelty Free Angled Brush to apply on cheeks, bridge of nose, and anywhere else you want to look kissed by the stars!

PRO TIP: For a more sleek, sculpted look, apply to top of cheekbones. Continue up to the outer curve of the orbital eye area, following the line of your cheekbone.

How to Highlight and Brighten

If a dewy glow isn’t your thing, we’ve still got you covered. There’s always the right highlighter out there for you, no matter the level of glow you want to achieve! You can use highlighter to add shimmer and bronzers to contour, but brightening the skin should be your first step in a true highlighting routine.

We love natural matte makeup for its pristine finish and illusion of poreless skin. It’s especially beneficial when it’s packed with skin nourishing rice powder and avocado, rather than with harsh synthetic ingredients. To brighten and awaken your skin, highlight your face with Bamboo Blur Matte Makeup by brushing over skin with a Cruelty Free Kabuki Brush F40 and blend, blend, blend. Make sure to select a shade that’s 1-2 shades lighter, and pair with a natural powder foundation for a perfect, porcelain complexion.

A matte highlighter also looks stunning with contouring. Simply select a shade that’s 1-2 shades darker than your skin and follow our contouring guide. Combine these pro makeup artist techniques with tips on highlighting for your face shape below, and you’ll look like a real life porcelain doll.

How to Highlight for Every Face Shape

In general, you’ll want to highlight under your eyes with a natural concealer or foundation in an upside-down triangular shape to brighten your eyes. Depending on your face shape, you can add highlighter to your forehead or chin to help accentuate the areas of your face that light naturally falls on. This helps flatter your natural beautiful features and brings balance to your face.

Round Face Shape

Your face has rounded cheeks and is as long as it is wide, so you’ll want to focus highlighting your forehead and chin to visually lengthen your face and avoid making your face look even rounder.

Oval Face Shape

Your face is round and about 1.5 times longer than it is wide. Feel free to highlight on your cheekbones to add more depth, as well as your forehead and chin to broaden and balance your face.

Heart Face Shape

Your chin is slightly pointed and narrow, and your forehead is the widest part of your face, so be careful not to over highlight your forehead. Highlight your chin in a flatter stroke to soften your chin.

Diamond Face Shape

Like an oval face shape, your face is longer than it is wide, while your chin and forehead are narrow. You’ll want to focus on minimizing your face width with smaller triangle highlights under your eyes.

Rectangle Face Shape

Your face is longer than it is wide, and your jawline and forehead are more angular in shape. Avoid highlighting your broad forehead. Accentuate your chin tip with a dab of highlighter, and brighten your under eye area.

Oblong Face Shape

Your face is two times longer than it is wide, so focus more on balancing your face by drawing upside down triangles under your eyes. This is where light naturally hits on an oblong face, and will help broaden this area.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully crossed over to the side of safe shimmer, and you’re looking more gorgeous than ever. Using healthy pigments and natural minerals on your skin is better than using toxic dyes and plastic -- don’t you agree? Get more from your makeup by using fruit pigmented®, vitamin rich products instead of toxic alternatives.
