Oops! something went wrong. Our Vitamin C Boost Concentrated Treatment is a water-activated powder made with just two ingredients: stable vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. It’s designed to brighten, lighten dark spots and promote firmer, more supple skin.
Ingredients:
Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Calcium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Hyaluronic Acid
How to Use:
Use nightly after cleansing and toning. Pour a pea-sized amount into hands, then mix in a few drops of warm water until you reach a serum-like consistency. Gently pat onto skin, evenly distributing around the face, eyes, and neck. Continue to moisten skin with water until treatment is fully absorbed.
Formula Highlights:
-
STABLE
Like all water-free formulas, skin treatment powders don’t normally need preservatives because they’re stable on their own. Bacteria thrive in watery environments; similar to us, they need water to function properly and multiply.
While you’ll be exposing this powder to water when you use it, you won’t be storing the serum for a long period of time. Instead, you’ll be using just enough (a pea-sized amount) for a one-time use. Be careful not to accidentally expose the entire product to H2O!
-
POTENT
This formula has three versions of vitamin C: sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid, and calcium ascorbate. -
Since these antioxidants are in powder form, there is less risk of them degrading in sunlight or oxygen. That means you don’t have to worry about your powder going rancid (read more about why our vitamin C serums don’t oxidize like others do). Every time you create your serum from home, it’s fresh. No sitting on the shelves for ages. No ineffective, toxic serums going on your skin.
-
PH BALANCED
A pH balanced skin treatment is essential to keeping your skin’s naturally acidic barrier healthy. Our skin is slightly acidic – neither alkaline nor highly acidic. Applying formulas that are too basic or too acidic can weaken your skin. Using these unbalanced products on a regular basis can lead to conditions like acne, eczema, flakiness, itchiness, and redness. -
Whether you want to prevent skin discomfort or stave off any more damage, our formula is pH balanced for your skin’s health.
Our Niacinamide Boost Concentrated Treatment is a water-activated powder treatment designed to minimize the appearance of large pores, reduce oil production, and restore sun damaged skin for a rejuvenated glow.
Ingredients:
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Hyaluronic Acid
-
STABLE
Similar to our vitamin C skin treatment, this niacinamide powder doesn’t require any preservatives to stay stable and fresh. No water is used until you decide to create a fresh, small amount of serum. Hyaluronic acid is also normally used in water-based formulas; makes sense since it holds up to 1000x its weight in water. Keeping it in powder form ensures that it can last longer. -
POTENT
Niacinamide and hyaluronic acid in this formula are undiluted by other ingredients. Part of the reason why other niacinamide or hyaluronic acid products may not work is that brands don’t always include enough of the ingredient. Often, you’ll find that these ingredients are buried in the middle or end of an ingredients list. -
What you might really be getting are a bunch of microplastics or silicones, that can only mask the real issues behind your skin concerns. On the flip side, concentrated powders containing pure, undiluted vitamins and antioxidants will ensure that you get effective results.
-
VERSATILE
Niacinamide is truly a versatile skin treatment. While we usually love this antioxidant for its ability to reduce the look of dark spots, it has a wide range of benefits. -
If you’re struggling with excess oil production, niacinamide may be able to help. Excess oil is usually the leading factor behind acne or enlarged pores. By extension, reducing your oil production means less sebum stretching your pores and therefore reducing the appearance.
Amber glass bottles protect these formulas from light degradation, to keep them super potent. Compact packaging also makes them perfect for carry-on and overnight bags! You can take these treatments anywhere – but when you use them will depend on your specific skin needs.
WHEN TO USE
Incorporating a skin treatment into your routine depends on the severity of your concerns, and what you’re looking to correct. Both vitamin C and niacinamide can be used in the morning and the evening. You may need to use your treatments once a day to adjust, but twice a day is usually the baseline.
-
A.M.
If you’re looking to rejuvenate your skin after sun damage, you can use a vitamin C or niacinamide skin treatment under your SPF and at night. Using vitamin C and niacinamide under your sunscreen help to boost your protection from further free radical damage. -
P.M. Evening is one of the best times to apply your most potent treatments. Your body, including your skin, repairs itself at night. You can give your skin the best fighting chance with these two ingredients.
WHY ONE AT A TIME?
The best recommendation is to incorporate one skin treatment into your routine at a time. Let us explain: we all want to see the effects of our skin care right away, but our skin creates its own pace.
Creating significant damage to our skin can come from a one-day event (like a sunburn) or from damage over the years (like getting sun exposure every day without UV protection). That means fixing the damage will take time.
Keep in mind, your skin may have a different timeline from your friend’s or from beauty influencers online. But either way, results aren’t immediate! Give each skin treatment the proper time it needs to make changes in your skin – and don’t negate the effects of your skin care by skipping sunscreen.
Measure how effective a new serum or product is for your skin. If you don’t get the results you’re looking for after some time, then the ingredient or formula may not work for you!
PRO TIP: For best results, allow each serum to absorb for 60 seconds before applying the next one.
Vitamin C and niacinamide are two of the best ingredients to promote glowy, supple, and more even skin. These small but mighty Concentrated Boost Treatments combine antioxidant abilities with the hydrating power of hyaluronic acid to give your skin the true TLC it deserves!
