Used to love... New smell is a huge disappointment
I am allergic to lots of different things and was so happy to discover 100% pure 8 years ago. This hand cream is what got me hooked. The only product that has a beautiful smell that wouldn't make my skin itch and burn! My husband got me a new tube of hand cream as well as the body lotion iny favorite vanilla bean.... Much to my despair, I finally finished my last bottle and opened up this one. WHERE is my warm vanilla bean smell!? All I can get is musty cocoa butter! I can get that from any drug store brand cocoa butter. Still moisturizes the same, and smells terrible! I honestly hate the way it smells when it first goes on. It fortunately disappears after about 10 minutes, so I will continue to use until it is gone as the return window has passed. Please, BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCENT!

Smells weird
I’ve ordered lotions from 100 Percent Pure before and liked them but this smells really bad. It definitely does not smell like vanilla bean. I’m using it all up anyway since it’s so expensive but definitely won’t be buying lotion from here again.
I adore this hand cream and have been using it for years. I'll start with the positives that the new in house cocoa butter version is literally the most luxurious, buttery and moisturizing product I've ever used on my hands, EVER. Nothing ends the dry cracks in my hands like this does. It's like I have new skin within minutes, the body butter is very similar but the hand cream is a touch more potent for the cracked dry hands.. The new formulation is better as far as the moisturizing qualities BUT it doesn't have the old scent that was complete heaven, vanilla cookie heaven. I'll be honest that I think they should keep this formulation but sell it as a "cocoa butter" scent because that's all it smells like. It moisturizes so well that I would choose to always have this formulation on hand and I would love if they would continue to offer it but as a cocoa butter hand butter. I would also LOVE if they could bring back the old formula for the vanilla scent because it is divine, I adore the vanilla scent in the old formulations. However their new cocoa butter formulation is the most healing moisturizing thing I've ever used on my skin. Even my sons steal this AND the body butters now that they are the cocoa butter formulation. If they could get this product to smell like the old vanilla scent that would be ideal but I don't think it's possible with all the cocoa butter which smells like cocoa. Bottom line, this product is AMAZING and if you are looking for something to end dry skin and hands, get this and the body butter. However it doesn't have the old scent anymore and I LOVE that scent. Please keep this product but just sell it as "cocoa butter hand butter" and please also bring back the old vanilla scent which was my ultimate favorite. I would buy both and have them on hand at all times because I do love both for different reasons. One version has the scent, the other version (this current batch) is the most healing product that I've ever used on my skin. My children fight over this and say the same thing.
